Juvenile Justice Day

I. HF 922 (Long) Corrections; guidelines for use of restraint on juveniles established, general public excluded from delinquency hearings, juvenile arrest alternatives provided, and juvenile risk assessment provided.
II. HF 947 (Pinto) Delinquent children and youth in detention facility visual inspection prohibited, delinquent children and youth in detention facility disciplinary room time prohibited, and delinquency and detention age raised to 13 years old.
III. HF 416 (Edelson) Extended jurisdiction juvenile conviction statistic report required.
IV. HF 1309 (Mueller) Organizations addressing racial disparity of youth using shelter services grant funding provided, and money appropriated.
*V. HF 662 (Long) Redistricting; incarcerated person allocation required based on last known address.
*VI. HF 876 (Frazier) Right to vote restored to individual convicted of a felony upon completion of any term of incarceration imposed and executed by a court for the offense.

*The language within these bills will be heard during the presentation of HF 9. Afterwards, these bills will be referred to their respective committees without testimony or debate.

I. HF 1152 (Long) Clean Slate Act established, and automatic expungement process provided for offenders.
II. HF 9 (Greenman) Voter registration related provisions modified; absentee voting provisions modified; system of early voting established; restriction on then umber of voters an individual may assist on election day eliminated; standards governing access to Help America Vote Act funds modified; intimidation, deceptive practices, and interference with voter registration and voting regulated; campaign finance provisions modified, small donor political committees and funds regulated; small donor state match program established; Democracy Dollar coupon program established; candidate expenditures exempted from aggregate expenditure limits; political contribution refund program repealed; campaign public subsidy program repealed; principles and procedures provided related to redistricting of congressional and legislative districts; criminal penalty established; reports required; and money appropriated.
