MINUTES
Representative Greg Davids, Chair of the Agriculture and Rural Development Committee, called the sixth meeting to order at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 2, 2005, in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.
The Clerk noted the roll.

Chair Davids welcomed the audience and provided a brief overview of the agenda for today.

A quorum was present at 2:37 p.m.
Rep. Magnus moved approval of the minutes: Tuesday, February 1, 2005. The motion prevailed.
Presentation on Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy (BSE) was provided by:

Rep. Heidgerken moved to table HF307. The motion did not prevail.
Chair Davids renewed his motion that HF307 be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the Committee on Civil Law. The motion prevailed.
