MINUTES
Representative Greg Davids, Chair of the Agriculture and Rural Development Committee, called the eleventh meeting to order at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 23, 2005, in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.
The Clerk noted the roll.

Rep. Moe moved approval of the minutes: Wednesday, February 16, 2005.

Rep. Welti moved to suspend Committee Rule #10 relating to the 24 hour amendment rule. The motion prevailed.
Rep. Penas moved to amend HF1104, as follows:
Page 1, line 10, delete "
may" and insert "
must"
The motion prevailed. The amendment was adopted.

Rep. Severson presented HF527.
Chair Davids moved to suspend Committee Rule #10 relating to the 24 hour amendment rule.

Chair Davids moved to amend HF527 with the A05-0091 amendment (please see attached).
The motion prevailed. The amendment was adopted.
Chair Davids renewed his motion that HF527 be recommended to pass, as amended, and be placed on the General Register.
Chair Davids moved to reconsider HF1104.
The motion prevailed.
Chair Davids moved to amend HF1104 with a delete everything amendment (please see attached).
The motion prevailed. The amendment was adopted.
Chair Davids renewed his motion that HF1104 be recommended to pass, as amended, and be re-referred to the Committee on Health Policy and Finance.
The motion prevailed.
HF1075 (Juhnke) Fertilizer Research Council established, comprehensive research and management program provided, and refundable fee imposed on agricultural fertilizers.
Rep. Juhnke presented HF1075.
Rep. Juhnke moved to amend HF1075 with the H1075DE1, the delete everything amendment (please see attached).
The motion prevailed. The amendment was adopted.
Chair Davids moved that HF1075 be laid over.
