MINUTES
Representative Brad Finstad, Vice Chair of the Health Policy and Finance Committee, called the seventeenth meeting to order at 10:20 a.m. on Tuesday, February 22, 2005 in Room 10 of the State Office Building.
The Clerk noted the roll.

A quorum was present.
Representative Dean moved approval of the minutes of the February 17, 2005, meeting.
THE MOTION PREVAILED. The minutes were approved.
HF1169 (Bradley) A bill for an act relating to health; changing the governance structure the Minnesota Comprehensive Health Association; increasing the cigarette tax; conforming to federal law on health savings accounts; providing a health insurance exemption from the insurance premiums tax; repealing the assessment for the Minnesota Comprehensive Health Association; and appropriating money.
Rep. Fran Bradley moved HF 1169 be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the Committee on Commerce and Financial Institutions.
Rep. Bradley presented HF 1169.
