Representative Bud Nornes, Chair of the Committee on Higher Education, called the twenty-first meeting to order at 12:37 PM on Monday, April 4, 2005, in Room 300S of the State Office Building.

The Clerk noted the roll.

12:37:14 PM Chair Nornes called the meeting to order.
12:37:34 PM Rep. Urdahl moved approval of the minutes: March 30, 2005. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
12:38:06 PM HF263 (Abrams) University of Minnesota football stadium state support process provided, and money appropriated.

Rep. Abrams moved HF263 to pass and be re-referred to the Committee on Taxes.
12:38:21 PM Rep. Abrams moved adoption of Amendment H0263A1. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
12:39:15 PM Rep. Abrams presented his bill.
12:43:33 PM Testifying were:
Glen Mason, Head Football Coach, University of Minnesota, supported the bill.
12:54:54 PM Richard Pfutzenrueter, CFO, University of Minnesota, supported the bill.

Chair Nornes moved HF2013 for possible inclusion in the Higher Education Finance Omnibus Bill.
