MINUTES
Representative Bud Nornes, Chair of the Committee on Higher Education, called the twenty-eighth meeting to order at 12:39 PM on Monday, March 13, 2006, in Room 5 of the State Office Building.
The Clerk noted the roll.

12:39:46 PM Chair Nornes unofficially called the meeting to order.
12:40:30 PM Chancellor James McCormick, Minnesota State Colleges and Universities, presented an overview of MnSCU bonding recommendations.
12:45:11 PM President Roland Barden, MnSCU, testified on the MnSCU bonding recommendations.
12:46:23 PM President Roland Barden introduced those here on behalf of MnSCU.
12:48:14 PM Kerry Duncan, MSCF, testified on the MnSCU bonding recommendation.
12:52:57 PM Jordan Brandt, MSCSA, testified on the MnSCU bonding recommendation.
12:53:11 PM A quorum was present. Chair Nornes officially called the meeting to order.
12:53:27 PM Jordan Brandt continued his presentation.
12:57:56 PM President Nancy Black, IFO, testified on the MnSCU bonding recommendation.
1:01:42 PM Vice Chancellor Al Johnson, responded to a question from the committee.
1:41:14 PM Rep. Abeler moved approval of the minutes: March 8, 2006. THE MOTION PREVAILED, THE MINUTES WERE ADOPTED.
1:41:43 PM President Robert Bruininks, University of Minnesota, presented the overview of the U of M bonding recommendations.
2:09:38 PM Vice President Kathleen O’Brien, University Services, responded to a question by the committee.
2:39:48 PM Chair Nornes adjourned the meeting.
