MINUTES


Representative Bob Gunther, Chair of the Jobs & Economic Opportunity Policy & Finance Committee, called the thirty-sixth meeting to order at 8:24 a.m., on Tuesday, April 5, 2005, in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

The Clerk noted the roll.

A quorum was present.


H.F. 1321 (Smith) Marriage dissolution, child custody, support, maintenance, and property law recodified and reformed; and money appropriated.

Chair Gunther moves HF1321 to be before the committee and recommended passage and re-referral to the committee on Public Safety Policy & Finance.

Representative Mahoney moved Amendment H1321A3.

Chair Gunther renewed his motion to recommend passage and re-refer HF1321 to the committee on Public Safety Policy & Finance. The Motion Prevailed.


H.F.2192 (Tingelstad) Human services rules required relating to affidavits of disclosure and nondisclosure and medical history forms related to birth parents of adopted children.

Representative Westerberg moved HF2192 to be before the committee and recommended passage and to be sent to the General Register.

Representative Westerberg moved Amendment H2192A3. The motion prevailed and HF2192 was adopted.

Representative Westerberg moved an oral amendment to HF2192, page 1, line 21, after "search,", delete "including mean, median, and range of efforts" and page 1, delete all of line 22. The motion prevailed. The oral amendment to HF2192 was adopted.

Representative Westerberg renewed his motion to recommend passage of HF2192, as amended, and send to the General Register. The motion prevailed.


H.F.1925 (Dean) Human services licensing provisions modified.

Vice Chair Garofalo moved HF1925 to be before the committee and recommended passage and to be sent to the General Register.

Representative Dean presented HF1925.

Chair Gunther moved Amendment H1925A6. The motion prevailed. Amendment H1925A6 was adopted.
