Representative Phil Krinkie, Chair of the Taxes Committee, called the thirty-first meeting to order at 12:52 PM on Friday, May 13, 2005, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

HF 2498 (Abrams). Public finance and tax increment financing provisions modified, purchases authorized, international economic development zone provided, tax incentives established, and money appropriated.
Rep. Abrams moved HF 2498 be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means.
Rep. Abrams moved the H2498A1 amendment to be adopted and incorporated into HF 2498.
THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Rep. Vandeveer moved the following oral amendment to HF 2498 as amended:
Page 17, Line 34, delete “$64,000,000” and insert “$61,500,000”.
Rep. Vandeveer withdrew his amendment.
The Chair moved the H2498A7 amendment to be adopted and incorporated into HF 2498 as amended. The Chair withdraws the H2498A7 amendment.
The Chair moved the following oral amendment to be adopted and incorporated into HF 2498 as amended:
Page 17, Line 26, delete “in” and insert “outside of”.
Chair Krinkie withdraws his amendment.

Rep. Davids moved the HF 1684 amendment to be adopted and incorporated into HF 2498 as amended. Rep. Davids withdraws his amendment.
Rep. Anderson moved A05-0912 amendment to be adopted and incorporated into HF 2498 as amended.
