Representative Ron Erhardt, Chairman of the Transportation Policy Committee, called the Twenty-Seventh meeting to order at 2:40 PM on Tuesday, March 14, 2006, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

Rep. Hornstein moved approval of the March 8, 2006 minutes. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Rep. P. Nelson moved approval of HF2677 (Erickson) Towns authorized to contract for roads without competitive bidding in certain circumstances and recommended it be re-referred to the Committee on State Government Finance.
Rep. Erickson presented HF2677.

Rep. P. Nelson renewed his motion to approve HF2677 (Erickson) and re-refer it to the Committee on State Government Finance. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Rep. P. Nelson moved approval of HF3214 (Beard) Department of Transportation towing authority within metropolitan district granted and recommended it be placed on the General Register.
Rep. P. Nelson moved adoption of the A06-1174 amendment (See attachment) to HF3214.
Rep. Beard presented the A06-1174.
Rep. Beard incorporated the following oral amendment to the A06-1174:
Line 1.3 after “paragraph” delete “(a)” and insert “(b)”.
