Representative Ron Erhardt, Chairman of the Transportation Policy Committee, called the Thirtieth meeting to order at 2:40 PM on Wednesday, March 22, 2006, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

Rep. P. Nelson moved approval of HF3398 (Magnus) Town bridge account financial assistance provision modified, and recommended it be re-referred to the Committee on Transportation Finance.

Rep. Magnus moved the following oral amendment to HF3398:

Page 2, line 16, insert “300,000” in the blank. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Rep. P. Nelson renewed his motion to approve HF3398, as amended, and that it be re-referred to the Committee Transportation Finance. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Rep. Hornstein moved approval of HF3718 (Hornstein) State purchasing of plug-in hybrid electric vehicles required in certain bid documents, funding provided to retrofit flexible fuel vehicles to operate as plug-in hybrid vehicles, and money appropriated, and recommended it be re-referred to the Committee on Government Operations and Veterans Affairs.

Rep. Hornstein presented HF3718.

Rep. Hornstein renewed his motion to approve the H3718A1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Rep. Hornstein renewed his motion to approve HF3718, as amended, and re-refer it to the Committee on Government Operations and Veterans Affairs. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Rep. Erhardt moved approval of HF3013 (Smith) Motor vehicle existence of event recording device disclosure required, and recommended it be re-referred to the Committee on Transportation Finance.

Rep. Erhardt moved adoption of the H3013A2 amendment to HF3013.

Rep. Smith presented H3013A2 amendment to HF3013.

Rep. Erhardt renewed his motion to adopt the H3013A2 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Rep. Smith presented HF3013 as amended.

Rep. Erhardt renewed his motion to approve HF3013, as amended, and re-refer it to the Committee on Transportation Finance. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Rep. P. Nelson moved approval of HF3050 (Nelson, P.) Provisional driver's license motor vehicle operation requirements modified, and recommended it be sent to the General Register.

Rep. P. Nelson moved adoption of the H3050A1 amendment to HF3050. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Rep. P. Nelson presented HF3050 as amended.
