MINUTES
Representative Mary Liz Holberg, Chair of the Transportation Finance Committee, called the Twentieth meeting to order at 12:30 P.M. on Thursday April 7, 2005, in Room 10 of the State Office Building.
The Clerk noted the roll.

Representative Anderson moved approval of the April 5, 2005 Transportation Finance Committee Meeting Minutes. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE MINUTES WERE APPROVED.
HF1243 (Brod) Hybrid vehicles authorized on high-occupancy vehicle lanes.
Representative Holberg moved HF1243 be considered and held over for possible inclusion in the Transportation Finance Omnibus Bill.

Representative Abrams moved HF0946 be passed and re-referred to the Committee on Taxes.
Representative Abrams moved amendment H0946A1 (see attached). THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

HF1400 (Nelson) Recreational vehicle combinations authorized to transport equestrian
equipment, maximum axle weights allowed on highways regulated, and certain motor
carrier rules abolished.
Representative Holberg moved HF1400 be heard and laid over for possible inclusion in
the Transportation Finance Omnibus Bill.
Representative Holberg moved amendment H1400DE1 (see attached). THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
