Representative Jim Knoblach, Chair of the Ways & Means Committee, began the twelfth meeting at 12:37 p.m. on Monday, March 7, 2005 in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

12:38:12 PM Jim Reinholtz, Fiscal Analyst, gave a presentation on Agriculture, Environment and Natural Resources Finance.
12:52:06 PM Representative Knoblach officially convened the meeting. A quorum was present.
Representative Sykora moved that the minutes of March 1, 2005 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
1:19:27 PM Representative Knobalch moved that HF820, the first engrossment, be recommended to be referred to the committee on rules without further recommendation.
Representative Paulsen testified on HF820.
1:19:59 PM Knoblach moved the H0820A1 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
1:50:54 PM Representative Knoblach moved that HF820, the first engrossment, as amended, be referred to the Committee on Rules without further recommendation. On a division of 19-12 THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Helen Roberts, House Fiscal Analyst, gave a presentation on State Government Finance.
2:08:49 PM John Walz, House Fiscal Staff, gave a presentation on Transportation Finance Basics.
