Representative Jim Davnie, Chair of the Division, called the eighth meeting to order at 8:04 A.M. on, March 5, 2007, in Room 400 North of the State Office Building.

Representative Davnie called the meeting to order at 8:04 A.M. A quorum was present.
Representative Benson moved approval of the February 23, 2007 minutes.

Representative Benson moved approval of the March 2, 2007 minutes.

HF0740 (Mahoney) Price gouging prohibited on essential consumer good and services including food, water, fuel, gasoline, medical supplies, and other items; and enforcement authority provided.
A handout "Minnesota Attorney General's Office Fact Sheet - HF740: Opportunistic Pricing - Taking Advantage of Consumers During Emergencies" was given to division members.
Representative Davnie moved approval of HF740 be recommended to pass and sent to the Commerce and Labor committee.
Representative Davnie moved an oral amendment, page 1, line 6, section 6, delete "on" and insert "of".
The oral amendment was incorporated.
