Representative John Benson, Vice-Chair of the Division, called the seventeenth meeting to order at 9:02 A.M. on March 10, 2008, in Room 500 North of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Again, Representative Benson called the meeting to order at 9:07 A.M. A quorum was present.
HF3755 (Gardner) Plastic sales that do not meet specifications prohibited, and penalties provided.
Representative Scalze moved approval of HF3755 before the division to pass and re-referred to the Commerce and Labor committee.
Representative Scalze moved an oral amendment.
Page 1, Lines 1.15 through 1.21 Delete subdivision 2.
Amend the title and correct internal references.
The oral amendment was adopted.
Representative Scalze renewed her motion that HF3755, as amended be recommended to pass and is re-referred to Commerce and Labor committee.
The motion prevailed.
Representative Davnie assumed the chair.
HF3224 (Gunther) Boiler operation-licensing procedures changed, and rulemaking authorized.
Representative Gunther moved approval of HF 3224 before the division to pass and re-referred to the Commerce and Labor committee.

Representative Davnie moved approval of HF0635 before the division to pass and re-referred to the Commerce and Labor committee.

The amendment was adopted.
