MINUTES
Representative Kent Eken, Chair, called the meeting to order at 4:10 P.M. on Tuesday, February 6th, 2007, in Room 5 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.
Representative Brynaert moved approval of the minutes of February 1st, 2007. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE MINUTES ARE APPROVED.
Dave Schad and Ed Boggess, DNR, gave a presentation on the DNR's working lands initiative and answered questions from the committee.
HF 415 (Poppe) Noise standards exemptions modified.
Representative Dill moved that HF 415 be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the Committee on Public Safety and Civil Justice.

Representative Mariani moved the H0415A2 amendment. On a division of 7Ayes and 9 Nays THE AMENDMENT WAS NOT ADOPTED.
Representative Dill renewed his motion that HF 415 be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the Committee on Public Safety and Civil Justice. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
