Representative Al Juhnke, Chair, called the first meeting to order at 10:05AM on Wednesday, February 7, 2007 in Basement of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant called the roll.

A quorum was present.
Representative Finstad moved that the minutes of February 6, 2007 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Tim Gerlach, American Lung Association and Mike Bull, Assistant Commissioner, Minnesota Department of Commerce gave an update on the current status of E-85.
Discussion and questions followed.
Kurt Markham, Division Director, Minnesota Department of Agriculture reviewed Minnesota ethanol statistics and Bill Lee, Chippewa Valley Ethanol Plant discussed the distribution process and pricing from a producer's perspective.

Bob Krogmen, Minnesota Retail Gas Association, discussed the distribution process and pricing from a service station perspective.
