Representative Mindy Greiling, Chair of the Committee, called the meeting to order at 2:15PM on January 24, 2007, in Room 10 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.
Representative Dominguez moved the minutes of January 23, 2007 be adopted.
THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Dr. Tom Melcher, Director of Program Finance at the Minnesota Department of Education, and
Deputy Commissioner Chas Anderson, Minnesota Department of Education, provided an overview of the education portion of the governor's budget proposal.
The meeting was adjourned at 3:45PM.
