HOUSING POLICY AND FINANCE AND PUBLIC HEALTH FINANCE
MINUTES
Representative Karen Clark, Chair, called the sixth meeting to order at 10:01 a.m. on Wednesday, January 31, 2007 in Room 5 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Clark called the meeting to order at 10:01 a.m.
A quorum was present.
Alan Arthur, President of Central Community Housing Trust provided an overview of their program and mission.
Arnie Anderson, Executive Director of MN Community Action Partnership provided a brief overview of their programs, and introduced Vicky Helland and Semcac Community Action.
Vicky Helland, Outreach Staff from Semcac Community Action, provided an overview of the organziation.
Kim Kortsch discussed her participation in Semcac's program.
Arnie Anderson introduced Stan Kaitfors and Community Action Duluth.
Stan Kaitfors, Executive Director of Community Action Duluth, provided an overview of the organization.
John Bonlender discussed his participation in the FAIM program.
Arnie Anderson introduced Wanda Muhammad and Community Action of Minneapolis.
Wanda Muhammad, Executive Director of Community Action of Minneapolis provided an overview of the organization.
Alexander Fultz discussed his participation in Community Action of Minneapolis' programs.
Representative Benson moved that the minutes of January 30, 2007 be adopted as corrected. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Colleen Moriarty, Executive Director of Hunger Solutions Minnesota, provided an overview of their programs.
Dan Hoxworth, President of Neighborhood House, provided an overview of their programs.
Shirley Buehler, Project Coordinator for ICA Food Shelf, provided an overview of their programs.
The committee acknowledged of the 11th and 12th grade students from Faith Christian School in Foreston, MN.
Colleen Moriarty, Dan Hoxworth, and Shirley Buehler responded to questions from the committee.
Robin Yaffe-Tschumper, executive Director of the Houston County Women's Resource Center provided an overview of their housing program.
The meeting was adjourned at 11:31 a.m.
