Representative Karen Clark, Chair, called the nineteenth meeting to order at 12:34 p.m. on Friday, March 9, 2007 in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

Representative Clark called the meeting to order at 12:34 p.m.
A quorum was present.
Charles Cox and Douglas Rickabaugh of the Veteran's Home Board presented the Governor's proposed budget.
Pat Richie, Shawn Barry and Sam Bettie from AFSCME Council 5 discussed the current situation of the Minneapolis Veteran's Home.
Mary Jo George, Carol Diemert, Margaret Skoy and Paul Tiene from the Minnesota Nurses Association discussed the current situation of the Minneapolis Veteran's Home.
Joan Wilshire, Executive Director, Minnesota State Council On Disability discussed the current situation of the Minneapolis Veteran's Home.
Todd A. Dobesh, a resident of the Minneapolis Veteran's Home presented his experiences in the Veteran's Home.
The meeting was adjourned at 2:33 p.m.
