MINUTES
Representative Karen Clark, Chair, called the twenty-fifth meeting to order at 10:09 a.m. on Tuesday, March 20, 2007 in Room 5 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Clark called the meeting to order at 10:09 a.m.
A quorum was present.
Representative Benson moved that HF1387 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.
HF1387 (Benson) Long-term homeless supportive services funding provided, and money appropriated
Representative Benson presented HF1387 to the committee.

Representative Benson renewed his motion that HF1387 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill, as amended. Hearing no objection, the bill was laid over.
Representative Kranz assumed the chair at 10:35 a.m.
Representative Clark moved that HF1407 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.
HF1407 (Clark) Environmental justice mapping federal funding application required
Representative Clark presented HF1407 to the committee.

Representative Clark renewed her motion that HF1407 be laid over possible inclusion in the omnibus bill. Hearing no objection the bill was laid over.
Representative Clark moved that HF1842 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.
HF1842 (Clark) Cancer surveillance system expanded to include environmental toxicity data collection.
Representative Clark presented HF1842 to the committee.

Representative Swails moved that HF1980 pass and be re-referred to Finance with recommendation to re-refer to Environment and Natural Resources Finance.
HF1980 (Swails) Point of use water treatment evaluation provided, and money appropriated
Representative Swails moved the oral amendment:
On line 1.6 delete "$570,000" and replace with "$593,000"
On line 1.6 delete "July 1, 2007 and replace with “the day after final enactment"
On line 1.7 delete “general" and replace with “remediation"
THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
Representative Swails presented HF1980 to the committee.
