MINUTES
Representative Karen Clark, Chair, called the meeting to order at 10:06 AM on Wednesday, March 26, 2008 in Room 5 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Chair Clark moved that HF1724, the First Committee Engrossment be recommended to pass and be returned to the Committee on Finance.
Representative Walker presented HF1724, the First Committee Engrossment, naturopathic doctor registration provided.
Chair Clark moved to amend HF1724, the First Committee Engrossment (See attached amendment
H1724A4). THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Tschumper moved to amend HF1724, the First Committee Engrossment as amended (See attached amendment

Representative Tschumper moved an oral amendment to the amendment,
H1724A13, as follows:
Page 1, line 1.3 after "2"
delete "delete subdivision 11"
insert "after line 36"
Page 2, line 2.1 delete

Page 2, line 2.3 delete
Representative Tschumper requested a division vote. The results were: 5 AYES and 8 NAYS. THE MOTION DID NOT PREVAIL.
Representative Severson moved that HF1724, the First Committee Engrossment, as amended be laid on the table.
Representative Severson requested a division vote. The results were as follows: 7 AYES and 6 NAYS. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE BILL WAS LAID ON THE TABLE
Representative Madore moved that the minutes of March 19, 2008 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE MINUTES WERE ADOPTED.
