MINUTES
Representative Karen Clark, Chair, called the meeting to order at 10:02AM on Tuesday, February 19, 2008 in Room 5 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.
Representative Benson presented HF2535, long-term homeless supportive housing funding provided, bonds issued, and money appropriated.
Representative Benson moved to amend HF2535 (See attached amendment
H2535DE1). THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
Representative Benson moved that HF2535 as amended be laid over for possible inclusion in the recommendations to the Capital Investment Committee

Representative Benson renewed the motion that HF2535 as amended be laid over for possible inclusion in the recommendations to the Capital Investment Committee. Hearing no objection, the bill was laid over.
Representative Hornstein presented HF3153, Hennepin County; Opportunity Center funding provided, bonds issued, and money appropriated.
Representative Swails moved that HF3153 be laid over for possible inclusion in the recommendations to the Capital Investment Committee.

Chair Clark renewed the motion that HF3153 be laid over for possible inclusion in the recommendations to the Capital Investment Committee. Hearing no objection, the bill was laid over.
Representative Kranz assumed the gavel.
Representative Clark presented HF2653, neighborhood land trust definition modified; bonds issued; and money appropriated.
Representative Clark moved to amend HF2653 (See attached amendment
H2653DE1). THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
Representative Clark moved that HF2653 as amended be laid over for possible inclusion in the recommendations to the Capital Investment Committee.

Jeff Washburne, City of Lakes Community Land Trust
Representative Clark renewed the motion that HF2653 as amended be laid over for possible inclusion in the recommendations to the Capital Investment Committee. Hearing no objection, the bill was laid over.
Representative Tschumper moved that the minutes of February 14, 2008 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE MINUTES WERE APPROVED.
Representative Swails moved that the Committee adjourn.
