Representative Mike Jaros, Chair of the Minnesota Heritage Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 4:05 PM. On February 12, 2007, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

HF 388, Representative Cornish, A bill for an act relating to appropriations; appropriating money for the Minnesota Agricultural Interpretive Center in Waseca.
Chair Jaros moved HF 388.

William Hoversten, Director and Board member of Farm America, provided financial and informational overview of Farm America.
Tom Hagerty, Farm America Board Member, provided additional information regarding Farm America's need for funds.
Chair Jaros moved HF388 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.
Representative Eken moved approval of the minutes from January 22, January 29 and February 5, 2007. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
HF 583, Representative Eken, A bill for an act relating to the Indian Affairs Council; appropriating money for property acquisition.
Representative Eken moved HF583.

HF 318, Representative Jaros, A bill for an act relating to state government; strengthening heritage education by creating the Commission on Minnesota Ethnic Heritage; appropriating money; proposing coding for new law in Minnesota Statutes, chapter 15.
