Representative Michael Paymar, Chair of the Public Safety Finance Division Committee, called the twenty- eighth meeting to order at 8:32 a.m., Monday, March 19, 2007 in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

HF1904 (Hilstrom) Requiring a report to the legislature on community dispute resolution programs; altering requirements for community dispute program grants and appropriating money for these grants.

Rep. Hilstrom moved the
H1904A1 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
Chair Paymar renewed the motion that HF1904, as amended, be laid over for possible inclusion in the Public Safety Finance Division omnibus bill.
HF1979 (Anzelc) Appropriating money to reimburse certain counties for cost of probation officers.

Rep. Kohls moved that HF2134 be re-referred to the Committee on Public Safety and Civil Justice.
After some committee debate, Chair Paymar renewed the motion that HF2134 be re-referred to the Committee on Finance with a recommended re-referral to the Committee on Public Safety and Civil Justice. MOTION PREVAILED.
