HF 2967 (Hortman) Trailer brake motor vehicle weight limit modified, and penalties imposed for forging or possessing false commercial motor vehicle inspection decals. Captain Ken Urquhart, MN State Patrol, assisted in presenting the bill. Rep. Hortman moved that HF 2967 be recommended to pass and rereferred to the Public Safety and Civil Justice committee. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
HF 3128 (Brod) New Prague; Deputy registrar office location permitted to be within city limits. Rep. Magnus moved the
A08-1285 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. Rep. Magnus moved that HF 3128, as amended, be recommended to pass and sent to the Consent Calendar. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
HF 3726 (Hornstein) Wireless communication devices limited while operating motor vehicles. Jeff Nachbar, Brain Injury Association, spoke in favor of the legislation. Rep. Hornstein moved that HF 3726 be recommended to pass and rereferred to the Public Safety and Civil Justice committee. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
