HF 2600 (Kelliher) Minneapolis; Interstate Highway 394 engine brakes use restriction authorized. Rep. Hornstein moved amendment

Ron Beiming of Minneapolis assisted in presenting the bill. Sue Groth, MnDOT, answered some committee questions on the legislation. Rep. Hornstein moved that HF 2600, as amended, be recommended to pass and rereferred to the Local Government & Metropolitan Affairs committee. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
HF 3868 (Lieder) Compressed natural gas excise tax transitional rate corrected. Rep. Lieder moved that HF 3868 be recommended to pass and returned to the Finance committee. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
HF 3003 (Bly) Dan Patch commuter rail line planning and development restrictions repealed. Judd Schetnan, Met Council, assisted in presenting the legislation. Rep. Holberg moved the
H3003DE1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. Rep. Lieder moved that HF 3003, as amended, be held over for possible inclusion in the Omnibus Transportation Policy bill. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
HF 3750 (Morrow) Driver hours of service provision modified. Rep. Morrow moved the
H3750DE1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. Bruce Kleven, MN Association of Cooperatives assisted in presenting the bill. Captain Ken Urquhart, MN State Patrol, answered committee questions on the bill. Rep. Morrow moved that HF 3750, as amended, be held over for possible inclusion in the Omnibus Transportation Policy bill. THE MOTION PREVAILED
HF 3805 (Morrow) Farm vehicles on highways provisions modified, and size, weight, and load restrictions on highways provided. Rep. Morrow moved the

Rep. Morrow moves to amend H.F. No. 3805, as follows:
Page 5, after line 14, insert:
"Subd. 11. Manure application technologies.
The Department of Transportation shall investigate and recommend opportunities for infrastructure adaptation to accommodate the implementation of manure application technologies that lessen impacts on roads and bridges."
