HF 4100 (Morrow) Driver and vehicle services technology account established, technology surcharge imposed, and fees adjusted. Rep. Morrow was assisted in presenting the bill by Pat McCormack, Department of Vehicle Services, Dept. of Public Safety. Rep. Nelson moved the
HDA-562 amendment. The motion failed on a voice vote. Rep. Morrow moved the following verbal amendment:
On page 1, line 19, delete 7.25 and insert 8.00
page 2, line 4, delete 6.50 and insert 7.25
page 2, line 9, delete 8.25 and insert 9.00

HF3301 (Kalin) Design-build project requests modified for proposals, scoring, project awards, protests, and stipulated fees; and Technical Review Committee provisions modified. Rep. Kalin moved the
H3301A3 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. The following spoke to the bill:

HF 3301, as amended, was laid over until the next committee meeting.
HF 619 (Koenen) Transportation funding provided with transportation certificates of assignment. Byron Dale assisted in presenting the bill. Rep. Lieder moved that HF 619 be passed to the Finance Committee. On a voice vote, the motion failed.
HF 3805 (Morrow) Transportation Supplemental Budget Recommendations. Rep. Lieder moved the
H3805DE1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. Judd Schutnan, Met Council spoke to the bill. Rep. Morrow moved that HF 3805, as amended, be recommended to pass and referred to the Finance Committee. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
