Representative Paul Thissen, Chair of the Committee, called the meeting to order at 2:19 P.M. on, Tuesday, January 16, 2007, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Rep. Norton moved that the minutes of January 11, 2007 be adopted. MOTION PREVAILED.
Rep. Thissen announced the appointment of the following members to the Licensure Subcommittee:

Rep. Fritz assumed the gavel at 2:22 P.M.
HF0001 Thissen Children's health security account and program created, eligibility criteria and covered services specified, Legislative Task Force on Children's Health Care Coverage established, and money appropriated.
Rep. Thissen moved that HF 1 be taken up for discussion.
Rep. Thissen presented HF0001 and answered questions.
