Representative Marquart, Chair of the Division, Called meeting to order at 10:05 AM on Wednesday, March 26th, 2008 in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

HF2852 (Hansen) Local government aid city aid base increased for specified cities (Lilydale).
Representative Hansen testified to the bill. Marilyn Lundberg, Councilmember for the City of Lilydale, testified in favor of the bill. Joan Olin, resident of the city of Lilydale, testified in favor of the bill.
A quorum was present at 10:14 AM.
Representative Marquart moved that HF2852 be heard and laid over for possible inclusion in the Property Tax and Local Sales Tax Division Report.

HF2854 (Hansen) Local government aid city aid base increased for specified cities (Mendota).
Representative Marquart moved that HF2854 be heard and laid over for possible inclusion in the Property Tax and Local Sales Tax Division Report.
Representative Hansen testified to the bill. Brian Mielke, Councilmember for the City of Mendota, testified in favor of the bill.

HF 2567 (Scalze) Modifying the need measure used in the local government aid formula.
Representative Loeffler moved that HF2567 be heard and laid over for possible inclusion in the Property Tax and Local Sales Tax Division Report.

Representative Marquart, Chair of the Division, turned over the chair to Representative Brown, Vice-Chair of the Division, at 11:03 AM.
HF3756 (Marquart) Local government aid distribution modified, appropriation limit increased, and study provided.
Representative Marquart moved that HF3756 be heard and laid over for possible inclusion in the Property Tax and Local Sales Tax Division Report.
