MINUTES
Representative Loren Solberg, Chair of the Committee on Ways and Means, called the meeting to order on March 25, 2008 at 2:00 pm, in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Smith moved that the minutes of March 4 be adopted as amended: Add Representative Lencewski and Representative Ozment to members present.

University of Minnesota and Minnesota State Colleges and Universities funding provided, bonds issued, and money appropriated.
Representative Solberg moved that HF2941 be recommended to pass and be placed on the General Register.
Representative Solberg moved that HF2941 be amended as follows: see

Special session convened by majority vote of both houses of the legislature or by order of the presiding officers of both houses, and constitutional amendment proposed.
Representative Carlson moved that HF2554 be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the Committee on Rules and Legislative Administration.
Representative Carlson presented HF2554.
Representative Carlson renewed his motion that HF2554 pass and be re-referred to the Committee on Rules and Legislative Administration.

Representative Solberg passed the gavel to Representative Swails.
House Resolution RES02 - Setting the limit on changes in expenditures for the biennium in accordance with House Rule 4.03.
Representative Solberg moved that House Resolution RES-02 be adopted.
Representative Solberg presented House Resolution #02.
Representative Solberg renewed his motion that House Resolution RES02 be adopted.
