Representative Tim Faust,Vice-Chair of the Committee on Ways and Means, called the meeting to order on February 16, 2009 at 10:05 AM in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

Representative Davids moved to adopt the minutes of February 11, 2009 as presented.

Representative Scalze moved to adopt the Committee Rules as submitted.
THE MOTION PREVAILED
Representative Solberg moved that HF117 be recommended to pass and be placed on the General Register.
Representative Carlson and Representative Solberg moved to amend HF117 as follows: see
H0117A1.
THE MOTION PREVAILED THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED
Representative Solberg presented HF117 as amended.
Testifying on behalf of HF117 was:
Tom Hanson, Commissioner of MN Management & Budget
Dennis Benson, Executive Director, MN Sexual Offender Program
Representative Solberg renewed his motion that HF117 as amended pass and be placed on the General Register.
