Representative Carlson, Chair of the Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 10:15 A.M. on Monday, February 16, 2009, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

Rep. Juhnke moved adoption of the Agriculture, Rural Economies and Veterans Affairs Division Report for HF217, First Committee Engrossment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE DIVISION REPORT WAS ADOPTED.
Rep. Juhnke moved that HF217, First Committee Engrossment, be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Committee on Environment Policy and Oversight.
Rep. Juhnke moved to amend HF217. (See attached amendment
H0217A4) THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
Rep. Faust presented HF217, First Committee Engrossment, as amended (Faust) Minnesota agricultural property tax law modified.
Steve Hinze, House Research, responded to questions regarding HF217, First Committee Engrossment, as amended.
