Representative Juhnke, Chair of Committee on Agriculture, Rural Economies and Veterans Affairs Finance Division, called the meeting to order at 10:37 AM in The Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present

Representative Faust moved that the minutes of February 17, 2010 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE MINUTES WERE ADOPTED.

Pam Barrows and Robin Gaustad, Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs, gave a presentation of the Minnesota Veterans Home Medicare and Medicaid feasibility study.

Discussion and questions followed.

Gil Acevedo and Michael Pugliese, Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs, provided an overview of the Governor’s Veterans Affairs department budget.
