Vice Chair James Abeler began the twenty-seventh meeting of the Health Care and Human Services Finance Division at 1:02 p.m. on Thursday, April 2, 2009, in Room 200 of the State Office Building. A quorum was not present.
HF 1114 (Pelowski) - Residential program capacity requirements changed, and federal waiver request required.

Discussion continued and the Vice Chair moved HF 1114, as amended by the
H1114DE2 amendment, be laid over for possible inclusion in the Health Care and Human Services Finance omnibus bill.
HF 818 (Hilstrom) – Financial records disclosure in connection with financial exploitation investigations authorized, procedures for reporting and investigating maltreatment modified, duties of financial institutions in cases of financial exploitation specified, financial exploitation crime modified, and penalties imposed.
Representative Ruud moved HF 818 and further moved the
H818A6 amendment. The motion prevailed. Rep. Ruud further moved to amend HF 818, as amended, as follows:
Delete sections 14, 15, 17 and 20

Representative Ruud renewed her motion that HF 818, as amended, be recommended to pass and returned to the Committee on Finance, with the recommendation it go to the floor of the House. The motion prevailed.
