Chair Thomas Huntley began the sixtieth meeting of the Health Care and Human Services Finance Division at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday, April 15, 2010, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.
HF 1802 (Eken) Mahnomen County; group residential housing supplemental service rate provided.
Representative Eken gave a brief overview of his bill. Testifying on behalf of the bill were:

Chair Huntley moved HF 1802 be recommended to pass and laid over for possible inclusion in the Health Care and Human Services Finance omnibus bill.
HF 3631 (Sailer) Clearwater County; daily rate increased for an intermediate care facility, and money appropriated.

HF 3571 (Koenen) Publicly owned nursing facilities rate increase authorized, and local share required for nonfederal medical assistance costs.
The Chair moved HF 3571 be recommended to pass and returned to the Committee on Finance and further moved the
H3571A2 amendment. The motion prevailed. Testifying was:

Following discussion, Chair Huntley renewed his motion that HF 3571, as amended, be recommended to pass and returned to the Committee on Finance. The motion prevailed.
Discussion of GAMC Reform Bill and Coordinated Care Organization Implementation

Discussion occurred throughout the testimony.
Discussion of the Completed Fiscal Note for HF 3713 (Huntley) Medical assistance eligibility expanded to include certain adults without children, and money appropriated. Testifying on the fiscal note was:

Vice Chair Abeler moved approval of the March 24, 25 and April 6, 2010 minutes. The motion prevailed.
