Chair Thomas Huntley began the twenty-third meeting of the Health Care and Human Services Finance Division at 1:08 p.m. on Tuesday, March 24, 2009, in Room 200 of the State Office Building. A quorum was not present.
HF328 (Murphy, E.) - Adoption record and original birth certificate governing provisions modified
Representative Murphy explained her bill along with Jim Golden, Director, Division of Health Policy at the Department of Health.
A quorum was present at 1:14 p.m. and Chair Huntley formally called the meeting to order.

Representative Erin Murphy moved HF328 to pass and be laid over for possible inclusion in the health and human services finance omnibus bill and upon discussion, incorporated as friendly the House Research Analyst
/LA ALA-MK328-2 amendment. The motion prevailed.
Representative Mary Liz Holberg read into the record written testimony of Karen Wizwell in opposition to the bill.
Rep. Murphy renewed her motion HF328, as amended, pass and be laid over for possible inclusion in the health and human services finance omnibus bill. The motion prevailed.
HF1890 (Hosch) - Nursing home moratorium exception projects approval period extended, additional moratorium exceptions authorized, money appropriated.
Representative Hosch moved HF1890 be laid over for possible inclusion in the health and human services finance omnibus bill and further moved the following technical amendment:
Page 2, line 2.1, delete "health" and insert "human services"
The motion prevailed.

Chair Huntley moved deletion of sections 2 and 3 of the bill. Following further discussion, the motion prevailed.
