MINUTES
Representative Karen Clark, Chair, called the twenty-third meeting to order at 9:34 a.m. on Friday, April 3, 2009 in Room 400 South of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Laine moved that HF 2036 (Gottwalt), Commissioner of health required to convene an Alzheimer's disease working group, report required, be returned to the Committee on Finance.
Representative Gottwalt presented HF 2036 (Gottwalt).
Representative McNamara moved to amend HF 2036 (See attached amendment
H2036A1). THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Benson moved that HF 1332 (Benson), Food shelves and food stamp outreach funding provided, and money appropriated, be laid over for possible inclusion to an omnibus bill.

Chair Clark moved that HF 250, Third Committee Engrossment, (Knuth), Children's health protected from toxic chemicals in products, disclosure required by manufacturers of children's products that contain chemicals of high concern, Department of Health authorized to designate priority chemicals and safer alternative replacement required, interstate clearinghouse participation authorized, and legislative report required, be returned to the Committee on Finance.
Representative Knuth presented HF 250, Third Committee Engrossment (Knuth).
Chair Clark moved to amend HF 250, Third Committee Engrossment (See attached amendment
H250A8). THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
