PUBLIC SAFETY FINANCE DIVISION COMMITTEE
MINUTES
Representative Michael Paymar, Chair of the Public Safety Finance Division Committee, called the thirty-fourth meeting to order at 8:39 a.m., Tuesday, March 23, 2010, in Room 10 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was not present.
HF 2463, Ward, Crow Wing County; substance monitoring pilot project established for certain persons with revoked driver's licenses.
Representative Ward moved that HF 2463 be recommended to pass and be re-referred to Finance with a recommendation to the Transportation Finance Division.
Representative Ward presented the bill.

A quorum was now present.
Representative Ward renewed the motion that the bill be passed and re-referred to Finance with a recommendation that it be re-referred to the Transportation Finance Division. MOTION PREVAILED.
Representative Hilstrom moved the Public Safety Finance Division minutes from March 4, 2010, and March 11, 2010, be approved as corrected. MOTION PREVAILED AND THE MINUTES ARE APPROVED.
Representative Olin assumed the gavel at 9:05 a.m.
HF 2965, Paymar, Gang and drug task forces certification process established, criminal gang investigative data systems creation authority established, certain entities dissolved, and forfeiture reporting requirements amended.
Representative Paymar moved that HF 2965 be passed and re-referred to Finance.
