HF464 (Rukavina) Speed limit modified when passing. Sue Groth, MnDOT Office of Traffic Safety and Technology Engineer spoke in opposition to the bill. HF464 was laid over for possible inclusion in the Transportation Capital Investment bonding bill recommendations.
Rep. Reinert moved adoption of the minutes of March 5, 2009. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
HF878 (Hortman) Highway centerline relocation governing provision added, county state-aid highway and municipal state-aid street provisions modified, advertising device placement regulated, and plats of lands abutting state rail bank property procedures provided. Erik Rudeen, MnDOT Office of Government Affairs spoke to the bill. Rep. Hortman moved that HF878 be recommended to pass and rereferred to the Finance Committee. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
HF828 (Hansen) Dakota County; Robert Street corridor transitway funding provided, bonds issued, money appropriated. Dan Krom, Dakota County Transit Manager, spoke in favor of the bill. HF828 was laid over for possible inclusion in the Transportation Capital Investment bonding bill recommendations.
HF765 (Loeffler) Minneapolis; Northtown Rail Yard Bridge construction funded, bonds issued, and money appropriated. Jack Yuzna, Principal Engineer, Minneapolis Public Works, spoke to the bill. HF765 was laid over for possible inclusion in the Transportation Capital Investment bonding bill recommendations.
HF1380 (Bly) Commuter rail line between Northfield and St. Paul alternatives analysis funding provided, bonds issued, money appropriated. Phillip Qualy, United Transportation Union, spoke to the bill. HF1380 was laid over for possible inclusion in the Transportation Capital Investment bonding bill recommendations.
HF1210 (Urdahl) Little Crow Transit Way funding provided, bonds issued, and money appropriated. HF1210 was laid over for possible inclusion in the Transportation Capital Investment bonding bill recommendations.
