Representative Bernie Lieder, Chair of the House Transportation Finance & Policy Division called the meeting to order at 6:38 P.M. on Tuesday, January 26, 2010 in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

Chairman Lieder announced that because we are not in session no official committee action can be taken at today’s meeting.
Representative Solberg presented HF2236 (Sertich) Chisolm-Hibbing Airport improvement funding provided, bonds issued, and money appropriated. Sean Germolus, Chisholm-Hibbing Airport Manager, assisted in presenting the bill.
HF2519 (Solberg) Grand Rapids; at-grade railroad crossing improvement funding provided, bonds issued, and money appropriated. Tom Pagel, Grand Rapids Engineer assisted in the presentation.
HF2476 (Pelowski) Port development funding provided, bonds issued, and money appropriated. Kevin Walli, MN Ports Association, assisted in presenting the bill.
HF2594 (Bigham) Hoffman Interlocking Capacity Improvement funding provided, bonds issued, and money appropriated. Ramsey County Commissioner Jim McDonough assisted in presenting the bill.
HF2596 (Bigham) High-speed rail line between Chicago and the Twin Cities funding provided, bonds issued, and money appropriated. Mayor Jerry Miller, Winona assisted in presenting the legislation. Dave Christianson, MnDOT , assisting in answering committee questions.

HF2533 (Hornstein) Minneapolis Transportation Interchange Facility funding provided, bonds issued, and money appropriated. Hennepin County Commissioner Peter McLaughlin assisted in the presentation.
