Representative Hornstein, Chair of the Transportation and Transit Policy and Oversight Division, called the meeting to order at 1:04 P.M. on Wednesday, March 11 2009 in Room 5 of the State Office Building. The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Rep. Hornstein moved the bill and adoption of the
A09-0083 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. Rep. Hornstein moved that HF672, as amended, be recommended to pass and rereferred to the Transportation Finance and Policy Committee. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF1047 (Hornstein) Statewide goals amended for reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. Lynne Bly of Fresh Energy, spoke in favor of the bill. Meghan McDaniel, Flint Hills Resources, spoke in opposition to the bill. Rep. Hornstein moved that HF1047 be recommended to pass and rereferred to the Environment Policy Committee. Rep. Davids requested a roll call vote on passage of the bill.

HF899 (Hausman) Transportation goals modified, reduction of vehicle miles traveled and greenhouse gas emissions provided. Rep. Hausman moved adoption of the
H0899A2 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. Rep. Davids moved the following oral amendment:

HF571 (Sailer) Mini truck titling, registration and operation regulated. Dennis and Bruce Bolton, Park Rapids, spoke to the bill. No official action was taken on the bill.
HF1250 (Hornstein) Electric vehicle infrastructure regulated, and incentives for use and adoption established.
Rep. Hornstein moved adoption of the
H1250A2 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. Erin Stojan Ruccolo and Ethan Fawley of Fresh Energy spoke to the bill. Rep. Hornstein moved to further amend HF1250 with the following oral amendment:
