MINUTES
Representative Gene Pelowski, Chair of the State & Local Government Operations, Reform, Technology and Elections Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:30 A.M. on Wednesday, March 4, 2009, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Poppe moved that the minutes of March 3, 2009, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Representative Simon moved that HF8 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Committee on Finance, with a recommended re-referral to the Committee on State Government Finance Division.
Representative Simon moved to amend HF8 (see attached
H0008A3) amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
Representative Simon moved to amend HF8, as amended, (see attached
H0008A4) amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
Representative Simon presented HF8 (Simon), as amended, a bill for an act relating to state government; establishing the Minnesota False Claims Act; etc.
