MINUTES
Representative Gene Pelowski, Chair of the State & Local Government Operations, Reform, Technology and Elections Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:30 A.M. on Thursday, March 26, 2009, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Poppe moved that the minutes of March 25, 2009, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Chair Pelowski moved that HF545 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Committee on Public Safety Policy and Oversight.

H0545DE1). THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Welti presented HF622 (Welti), First Engrossment, as amended, a bill for an act relating to public safety; establishing a grant program to assist local law enforcement agencies to develop or expand lifesaver programs that locate lost or wandering persons who are mentally impaired; authorizing a voluntary advisory task force; providing for rulemaking; etc.
