Representative Gene Pelowski, Chair of the State & Local Government Operations, Reform, Technology and Elections Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:30 A.M. on Wednesday, February 24, 2010, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

Representative Poppe moved that the minutes of February 23, 2010, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Representative Poppe moved adoption of the Local Government Division report for HF162, First Committee Engrossment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE DIVISION REPORT WAS ADOPTED.
Chairman Pelowski moved that HF162, First Committee Engrossment, be recommended to pass and sent to the General Register.
Representative Hansen presented HF162, First Committee Engrossment (Hansen), a bill for an act relating to waters; modifying drainage system provisions; amending Minnesota Statutes 2008, sections 103B.101, by adding a subdivision; etc.
