MINUTES
Representative Jim Davnie Chair of the Division, called the thirteenth meeting to order at 10:40 A.M. on April 3, 2009, in the 200 room of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Davnie called the meeting to order at 10:40 A.M. A quorum was present.
Representative Fritz moved adoption of the March 25, 2009 minutes.
THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Representative Sanders moved approval of SF1477 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Commerce and Labor committee.
SF1477 (Seifert) Redwood County; Limited exemption from state building code provided.
A handout was given to division members:
"Redwood County District 3 Commissioner - April 1, 2009"
Representative Nelson moved approval of amendment
S1477A1.
The amendment was adopted.
Representative Solberg moved an oral amendment
After line 1.13 insert
"(3) The structure and the exemptions provided in this section must be approved in writing
by the State Fire Marshal."
Renumber the sections in sequence and correct the internal references.
The oral amendment was incorporated.
Representative Sanders renewed his motion that SF1477 be recommended to pass as amended and be re-referred to Commerce and Labor committee.
The motion prevailed.
Representative Fritz moved approval of SF594 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Commerce and Labor committee.
SF594 (Fritz) Safe patient handling plans in clinical settings required.
Representative Fritz moved approval of amendment
S0594A1.
The amendment was adopted.
Representative Fritz renewed her motion that SF594 be recommended to pass as amended and be re-referred to Commerce and Labor committee.
The motion prevailed.
Rep.Fritz assumed the chair.
Representative Davnie moved approval of HF1685 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Commerce and Labor committee.
HF1685 (Davnie) Unreimbursed expense wage deduction regulated.
Representative Davnie moved approval of amendment
H1685A1.
The amendment was adopted.
