MINUTES
Representative Jim Davnie, Chair of the Division, called the forth meeting to order at 10:38 A.M. on, February 13, 2009, in room 200 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Davnie called the meeting to order at 10:38 A.M. A quorum was present.
HF12 (Mahoney) Unemployment compensation definitions modified.
Representative Mahoney moved approval of HF12 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Commerce and Labor committee with recommendation that it pass and be re-referred to the
Higher Education and Workforce Development Finance and Policy Division.

The motion prevailed.
HF208 (Dill) Secured creditor mailed notification type changed required in connection with foreclosure of a mechanics lien on a motor vehicle.
Representative Davnie moved approval of HF208 be recommended to pass and sent to the Commerce and Labor committee.
Representative Davnie moved HF208 to pass be recommended to pass and re-referred to Commerce and Labor committee.
The motion prevailed.
HF166 (Sanders) Retail sales of recalled toys prohibited.
Representative Sanders moved approval of HF166 be recommended to pass and sent to the Commerce and Labor committee.
Representative Sanders moved approval of amendment
A09-0035 to HF166.
The amendment was adopted.
Representative Sanders moved an oral amendment "delete line 1.7 up to the period".
The oral amendment was incorporated.
Representative Sanders moved HF166 to pass as amended and be recommended to pass and re-referred to Commerce and Labor committee.
The motion prevailed.
HF354 (Hilstrom) Mortgage foreclosure proceedings notice and mandatory mediation required prior to commencement on homestead property, and homestead-lender mediation account created.
Representative Davnie moved approval of HF354 be recommended to pass and sent to the Commerce and Labor committee.
