Representative Jim Davnie, Chair of the Division, called the nineteenth meeting to order at 10:35 A.M. on, February 26, 2010 in the 200 hearing room of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Davnie called the meeting to order at 10:35 A.M. A quorum was present.
Representative Davnie moved approval of HF2599 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Commerce and Labor committee.
HF2599 (Falk) Live check solicitations prohibited.

HF2855 (Gunther) Boiler provisions modified and civil and criminal penalties amended and imposed.

Representative Lillie moved approval of HF3048 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Commerce and Labor committee.
HF3048 (Norton) Construction codes and licensing provisions modified, certain notice provisions modified, and criminal penalties imposed.
Representative Lillie moved approval of amendment

The amendment was adopted.

HF2600 (Mullery) Licensing and regulation provided for an individual engaged in the business of a mortgage loan originator or the mortgage loan business.

The oral amendment was not adopted.
