Environment Policy and Oversight Committee

MINUTES

Representative Kent Eken, Chair of the Environment Policy and Oversight Committee, called the meeting to order at 4:36 PM. On January 20, 2009, in Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Representative McNamara moved that the minutes from January 15, 2009 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Eken invited the Board of Water and Soil Resources to provide an overview of the organization.

John Jaschke, Executive Director of the Board of Soil and Water Resources.

Chair Eken invited the Pollution Control Agency to provide an overview of the organization.

Paul Eger, Temporary Commissioner for the Pollution Control Agency.
