MINUTES
Representative Kent Eken, Chair of the Environment Policy and Oversight Committee, called the meeting to order at 4:32 PM, on March 5, 2009, in Room 5 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative McNamara moved that the minutes from March 3, 2009 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Representative Bigham moved that HF898 be recommended to pass and referred to the Committee on State and Local Government Operations Reform, Technology and Elections.
HF898-Hornstein
Greenhouse gas reduction goals and strategies added to various state and metropolitan programs and plans, goals established for per capita reduction in vehicle miles traveled to reduce greenhouse gases and money appropriated.

H0898DE8 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Eken moved the following oral amendment to the H0898DE8 amendment:
On line 3.13 strike "analyze" and insert "consider"
On line 3.14 insert a "." after emissions and strike "and alternatives and mitigation measures to reduce those emissions."
Representative Bigham renewed her motion that HF898 be recommended to pass as amended and referred to the Committee on State and Local Government Operations Reform, Technology and Elections. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Representative Dill moved the adoption of the Game, Fish and Forestry Division Report for HF128. THE MOTION PRVAILED.
Representative Dill moved that HF128, the first engrossment, be recommended to pass and be referred to the Committee on Public Safety and Oversight.

Bow and gun case requirements removed.
