MINUTES
Representative David Dill, Chair of the Game, Fish and Forestry Division, called the meeting to order at 4:40 PM, on March 2, 2009, in the Basement of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.
Representative Sailer moved that the minutes from February 23, 2009, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE MINUTES WERE APPROVED.
HF709 (Nelson) Changes requirements for duck decoys.
Chair Dill moved HF709 be heard and laid over for possible inclusion in the Omnibus Game and Fish Bill.
The following people testified: Rep. Mike Nelson, Jeff Peterson, Pat Cumiskey from Pine City, and Chief Jim Conrad, Enforcement Division, DNR.
Rep. Hackbarth moved amendment
A09-0067. Rep. Hackbarth explained the amendment. Rep. Hackbarth withdrew his amendment. The following people testified on A09-0067: Jeff Weaver from Anoka County, and Chief Jim Conrad, Enforcement Division, DNR.
Chair Dill renewed his motion that HF709 be heard and laid over for possible inclusion in the Omnibus Game and Fish Bill.
Kirk Koudelka, Committee Administrator, explained to the Committee Members of the committee deadlines and putting the Omnibus bill together.
The meeting was adjourned at 5:00 PM.
